Safety glass used as the front destination glasses at the top, over the windscreen, for the protection of the destination sign, mainly used in buses.
Vidurglass offers a wide range of products for this type of application, providing solutions and meeting the most demanding requirements. The technical abilities of Vidurglass allow for different alternatives in terms of glass shape (flat, cylindrically curved or spherically curved), the safety requirements (protection against impact and penetration) as well as the compliance with the technical characteristics of the type of glass, from clear to optical glass or extra clear glass according to the needs of each project.
- Flat single glass (tempered or annealed): Thickness 3 – 10mm
- Cylindrically Curved single glass (constant radius), (tempered or annealed): Thickness 3 – 10mm
- Spherically Curved Single Glass (more than one bending radius), (tempered or annealed): Thickness 4-6mm
- Flat double glazing unit (tempered or annealed): Glass thickness 3 - 10mm. Aluminium spacer: 6-12mm
- Cylindrically Curved double glazing unit (tempered or annealed): Glass thickness 3 - 10mm. Aluminium spacer: 6-12mm
- Spherically Curved double glazing unit (tempered or annealed): Glass thickness 3 - 6mm. Aluminium spacer: 6-12mm
- Flat laminated glass (tempered or annealed): Thickness 3+3mm; 4+4mm ; 5+5mm; 6+6mm; 8+8mm; etc
- Cylindrically Curved laminated glass (tempered or annealed): Thickness 3+3mm; 4+4mm ; 5+5mm; 6+6mm; 8+8mm; etc..
- Spherically Curved laminated glass (tempered or annealed): Thickness 3+3mm; 4+4mm ; 5+5mm; 6+6mm
Screen-printing: Ability to carry out any type of screen-printing, including high opacity enamels and free of heavy metals.
Maximum dimensions: 2400x1500 mm (bigger sizes by previous consultation).
Colours: clear, tinted (green, grey, bronze), Venus, dark tinted, reflective, low-e, etc.
Homologations: Vidurglass already has the necessary approvals for this type of glass: E-43R; ANSI/SAE Z26.1. 1-1996 (DOT).
