Vidurglass offers to its bus builder clients the possibility of installing glazed sunroofs in their vehicles for public passenger transport, following the present tendency of the automotive market. This product meets the highest technical standards and fulfills all the security requirements of the sector.

Equipped with solar control PVB and completely customized, this offers to Vidurglass' clients the opportunity to differentiate their products.

Type of glass:

• Flat single glass (tempered or annealed): Thickness 3 – 10mm
• Cylindrically Curved single glass (constant radius), (tempered or annealed): Thickness 3 – 10mm
• Spherically Curved Single Glass (more than one bending radius), (tempered or annealed): Thickness 4-6mm
• Flat double glazing unit (tempered or annealed): Glass thickness 3 - 10mm. Aluminium spacer: 6-12mm
• Cylindrically Curved double glazing unit (tempered or annealed): Glass thickness 3 - 10mm. Aluminium spacer: 6-12mm
• Spherically Curved double glazing unit (tempered or annealed): Glass thickness 3 - 6mm. Aluminium spacer: 6-12mm
• Flat laminated glass (tempered or annealed): Thickness 3+3mm; 4+4mm ; 5+5mm; 6+6mm; 8+8mm; etc.
• Cylindrically Curved laminated glass (tempered or annealed): Thickness 3+3mm; 4+4mm ; 5+5mm; 6+6mm; 8+8mm; etc.
• Spherically Curved laminated glass (tempered or annealed): Thickness 3+3mm; 4+4mm ; 5+5mm; 6+6mm

Equipped with solar control PVB: that improves the vehicle’s comfort, and avoids overheating thanks to a delay effect/barrier for solar energy transmission.

• Aesthetical & design improvement of the interior of the bus.

 Customized as a function of each model and brand, Vidurglass starts from 3 basic predefined configurations where each one is highly superior than the previous referring to the percentage of glass:

• Central aisle roof: 5 narrow pieces located in the central aisle with glazing area of 9,5m².
• Panoramic roof: 5 wide pieces covering 60% of the bus width with a glazing area of 15m².
• Modular panoramic roof: 15 wide pieces covering 95% of the bus width with a glazing area of 24m².

Screen-printing: Ability to carry out any type of screen-printing, including high opacity enamels and free of heavy metals.

Colours: clear, tinted (green, grey, bronze), Venus, dark tinted, reflective, low-e, etc.

Homologations: Vidurglass already has the necessary approvals for this type of glass: E-43R; ANSI/SAE Z26.1. 1-1996 (DOT).
